“Josh isn’t just my uncle, he’s been a lifelong inspiration to me, and now to my daughter as well. He doesn’t just share his beliefs, he stands firmly behind them.

Growing up, he was the kindest and most honest man any child could hope to have as an uncle. Whether he was teaching us how to ride bikes or taking us on trips to museums in Madison to learn about Wisconsin’s history, including our own family’s story. He always made learning meaningful and personal.

He has consistently guided us toward being thoughtful, informed, and principled people. Knowing the legacy of my great-grandfather Lewis, and now having a husband actively serving in the Army, I understand how important it is to be educated and engaged in the future of our country.
